Spectral Force 3 is a strategy role-playing game developed by Idea Factory and published by Atlus. It is hard to believe this game was brought out in 2008 (2006 in Japan) because it is so behind the curve in every aspect that games that came ten years before this game not only look better but play better. Where do I start with Spectral Force 3? I'm not familiar with the series at all, since this is the first one to be released here. I'm not entirely impressed with this one though. The storyline is almost non-existant, which means, I really didn't care for the characters at all. Especially the optional ones. The graphics are completely outdated, and unstylish. There is no reason why this is on the 360, as it takes no advantage of his horsepower at all. The controls are clunky as hell. This is not...

very typical tactics game. If you like final fanstasy tactics or vandal hearts you will be pleased with the gameplay. Positives are interesting cast of characters , manga style cut scenes, solid play mechanics. Negatives include game freezing up during cut scenes ( installing game on harddrive seemed to fix this) Pacing problems with enemies levels, pacing problems with main story, easily missable characters and overall weak story.
