Struggling from the very get-go. Mistakes were made, and also a pretty rough seed.

Yeah, this seed was pretty bad. I still beat Hell and raised my daily average, at least.

Low score and dumb death in the Temple. Whee!

Story time! In my first warmup run for this daily I reached Olmec for the first time but died - not enough bombs, got crushed trying to use him to make the hole. Thought I should take another run before the daily to cool off from that disappointment, but then in that run I beat Olmec for the first time and reached hell. At this point I figured I was on some kind of a roll so I should just do the daily, but I never fully regained my composure and made silly mistakes throughout, including my death in the caves:

Still, a breakthrough Spelunky day all in all. Here's a screengrab of my first hell death, because I'm proud:

I was expecting to grab the ledge above me and *not* fall to my death.

Best daily run ever, on a pretty hard seed. Made it to 4-3 and should have gotten to Olmec. Getting closer...
