One of the four original members of the F.E.A.R. team, Jankowski mysteriously vanishes during F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon while the team searches for Paxton Fettel, and is not seen again for the remainder of the game. His younger brother Redd appears in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
