Overview
When Latverian president Dr. Doom plots to blow up New York by using an atomic bomb with the help of various Marvel villains, it becomes apparent that one Marvel superhero is not enough. Hence why Spider-Man and Captain America decide to team up and take on Dr. Doom and his henchmen. The game is a side-scrolling beat 'em up, in which you alternate in control with the two characters. They each have their own moves to deal with and plenty of bosses like The Rhino, and Electro to deal with. Moves are context-sensitive based on the distance between your character and the opponent. Your energy bar decrease as you each take hits from the villians. After each section you get comic-book sequences as a reward, and these set the scene for the evolving story.Fun Facts
- This game came prepackaged with an actual comic book explaining the back story to this game.
- One of the villians you will face, Rattan, was specifically desinged for this game, the rest are pre-existing characters in the Marvel universe.
