I've heard almost no buzz about this game. How does the GB community feel?

well most places gave it a 8 out of 10 and you get a $20 gift card if you buy it at k-mart.

I enjoyed the hell out of it.  I beat it yesterday and still want to play it.

Its fun, even on the WIi. Camera can be annoying and there are glitches, but if you like the source material or just having fun, then its well worth buying.

I just picked it up and haven't had a chance to play it yet. However, I'm looking forward to digging into this weekend, based on all of the positive things I've been reading. It sounds like it has a few issues (mostly the camera), but it seems like a good action game.

It's really fun.  Not to most challenging game and story is pretty barebones...  The gameplay is super fun tho.

i would say definitely rent it atleast. it's fun but some of the later missions can get a bit confusing though.

how does it compare to Web of Shadows?  i enjoyed that one, but then again, i'm a sucker for pretty much anything and everything Spider-Man

I'm HATING how it's not getting any love from people and experts alike. Sure it has got some pretty good reviews but no one's talking about it. Dammit! It's Spider-man! 4 Spider-men to be precise! Needs some love!

4 Spidermens? That's a bargain!! But seriously, I hear good things. It ditches the free roaming New York landscape in favor of big set pieces. It's linear, yet more focused. At least that's what I keep hearing from reviewers. I'd like to see what the GB team thinks of it.

It's quite good, although it's likely more of a rental. It isn't built on the deepest game-play, nor does it have the most compelling story, but it'll make for a fun weekend.

I will say the game did New Game Plus right... So there is replayability imo.

The game is a ton of fan service.  The alt costumes are great, and the game has the voice actor from all the old animated series.

To be honest? its my favorite Spider man game yet, i mean they completely nailed the combat aspect of it it feels more like how Spiderman would actualy fight i loved flipping all over the place when there's a lot of enemies attacking. I am currently on the Deadpool part (and thats all i'm saying about that to avoid spoilage) i also love the dialog i think the game has some of the best Spidey one liners in a Spiderman game yet. The bad guys have some cool lines too.

is scarlet spider a woman? if yes its always spiderwomen and spiderman, but never spidermans!

My copy should be coming through the post tomorrow. Can't wait to give it a spin as it's meant to be the best Spider Man game in years.

It's a blast.  I love the attention to fan service, and the focus down to more linear environments make for more exciting, much less repetitive set pieces.   
 
EDIT: and most of the boss battles are epic.
