As normal! I think it is a good thing to happen though, lots of deliberation between journalists that don't get to meet often.

Why isn't Jim Sterling on this list? For shame!
He's the most respected journalist around, the fans love him...I can't fathom why he's not on the list!

Sterling is an honest reviewer, there, I said it.
Seriously, why is Adam Sessler not there, or anyone from G4? I'm not a huge G4 fan personally but I think someone from them should be on the judges list.
I'd like to see Adam Sessler and Ben Kuchera on there, among others, but who cares about this VGA crap anyways? It's just meant to sell you products, not to actually reward creativity or accomplishments.
Yep, he's been doing this pretty much from the start. Not much too it really, and the votes are kinda meaningless when you consider some awards are probably locked in months in advance for certain games.

I'm not a fan of G4TV, but I am a huge fan of Adam Sessler. I may not always agree with him but he normally makes great arguments and puts out a lot of great comments and thoughts in regards to the industry of video games. The lack of Adam Sessler on that list is disappointing. Having both Jeff and Adam on that list would give the Video Game Awards a lot more credibility in my opinion. So far their nominees and winners seem to be based around money, hype, and popularity rather than actual quality. The come off more as an advertisement rather than a celebration. I also detest the way the Video Game Awards presents people who play video games and the industry, and the forced celebrities that have nothing to do with video games or no interest in them being on that show is cringe worthy and down right pathetic. I think if the Video Game Awards gets it shit together though it could be great.

Jeff said all he does for the VGAs is fill out a vote card and mail it back. it's nothing fancy.
Its probably a laminated fancy card, seeing as these are always rigged anyways.

Which is what is worrying. I totally believe he writes honestly, but if he believes what he writes it just proves he is insane.
One thing that always bugged me about award shows. How come it feels like there is a different Country Music award show every month yet no award show for Rock n' Roll?
I guess Country Stars are very insecure and need constant praise or they will commit mass suicide. Another theory is you don't need an award to rock someones motherfucking socks off.
Didn't the VGAs just turn into a run of the mill award show that the public only really watches to see trailers of new games? I remember last year it was all about the big reveals and teaser trailers. Hell I can't even remember who hosted last years VGA's. I just assume Jack Black because he seems to do a lot of this shit.
