If there ever was a VG that was tailor made for a GB QL featuring Vinny, Drew and Dave it has to be Spintires. Alas it wont happen and that kind of makes me sad. I mean where else could you get a truck driving simulation set in Russia where the only point is to get place to place? I watched a couple of other videos of the game and couldnt help but reminisce of the good times those 3 have provided over the years.

Also, just another game on steam that spent $0 dollars on marketing and is outselling AAA titles.

I think it would be a great game for Drew, since it has driving, russians and military machinery in it.

The first thing I thought when I saw this game was it'd make a great Flight Club/Vinny+Drew video. Then I realized it probably won't happen. :(

They could play it multiplayer at some point during the Quicklook.

It just hit me that Flight Club is essentially gone...

No reason why Vinny can't do one with Alex in New York, at least once they have everything set up.

I'm not gonna lie: this game looks really fun. And I hate truck simulators.

Yeah I'd love to see Vinny play this. The terrain deformation looks really great and I'm sure you could get into some funny situations.

We still have Drew and maybe Alexis to do this quick look in SF. I have a good feeling Vinny and Alex will do a quick look of this in NY.

Man, this game looks great. I'd love to see some coverage from the staff on it. Doesn't matter who.

Alex's great video reviews are definitely the most memorable moments for me from the gamespot days.

Alex is weird/funny in a different way than Drew. A way that works better in writing, I love the guy but he just doesn't really excel on video/podcasts. Not saying he's terrible, but he's just okay.

Fun game.

Steam shows I've got 60 hours into it over the past week. But I'll admit I think I'm mostly done with it for now. Completed every level, a couple levels online and had a great time with it. Looking forward to steering wheel compatibility and other additions.

Fired up FF14 again last night and can feel myself getting absorbed back into it.

Alex is fun when talking about wrestling.

The thing I don't get with the lamentation of Vinny's absence is that he's leaving to have a much more active role in output of GBNY and with Vinny at the helm shit can get pretty crazy but, that shit is gonna be made fun to watch.

Watch how somehow Vinny gets an eight ton truck stuck in a tree.

Man, the camera in that game looks fucking terrible. Also why does it look easier to drive "off road" than it does to drive on the roads?

No more "Jeff and Vinny: Sports Experts" videos is the greater tragedy.

@sgtsphynx: The camera being freeroam is need when you have to winch yourself out of a ditch or see which wheel is obstructed but it definitely takes some getting used to. the devs have said they might implement cockpit view.

It might be easier faster to drive out of the mud roads but you risk damaging the truck, getting stuck or tipping over.

overall it's a oddly compelling and fun game but its a bit crashy atm.
