I find this difficult to take seriously all of a sudden.

To be fair, it's also a video game. You probably shouldn't take it too seriously based on that alone.

Point taken then. I'm still not convinced but it could be a good game in the end. I guess that's all that matters really.

I met Nick Baines and played Split Second at the eurogamer expo.  It's pretty much where burnout would be now if it had carried on being a linear racer, super pretty, super fast, great fun.  Nick is also a great guy.

I like the concept a lot, its a refreshing take on racing, I think I'll get this (assuming I like what I see in the future of it.)
 
Also, disney logo.. silly =P The drivers are probably disney characters and thats the twist!

Don't get confused or distracted by the Disney logo. This is a Blackrock Studio game and thet made Pure wich was awesome! I really REALLY look foward to this game. Gonna fit a Burnout fan like my like a glove.

Criterion's working on the next NFS. Dunno if they have enough dudes or should even work on two games at the same time.

Framerate still looks busted in these videos. I really hope they can iron that out, because this looks effing rad otherwise.

I will admit that I am not a racing fan to begin with and that this does look like a good game. However, I can't help but wonder how much of the actual racing people are going to be playing this for. I can't help but think it's all about the 'plosions. I mean this is essentially Tranformers 2, but y'know, with a storyline.
