antispore.com hoax!

Many of you have probably heard about the christian fundamentalist website known as antispore.com.  As it turns out, it was all an elaborate hoax!  As the creator of the blog stated:

21. The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never gonna give you up. 22. “Never gonna let you down.” 23.”Never gonna run around and desert you.” 24. “Never gonna make you cry.” 25. “Never gonna say goodbye.” 26. “Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.” 27.”Never truly believe anything you read on the Internet. There will always be cases of Poe’s Law.”

All I've got to say is excellent job to whoever pulled that off. Brilliant joke, mate.

Not a big surprise, when I saw some reports about that site on other sites there were already questions if it was legit or not.

The very last post was pretty funny too.
The third post found that this was a roll, yet 1904 posts later people still think this is real.

I didn't find the site funny at all. Despite being Christian, I absolutely hate religious zealots. With a passion.

It was satire. Although you couldn't laugh at what he was doing since you didn't know he was crafting a joke, you can now see that he used this to reveal all the stupid people.

I assumed it was a joke once I saw the google ads.  I assume he'll make a bit out of it in addition to his inflated self-esteem.

Just goes to show that most people won't read an entire article, but if they read one sentence they don't like, they'll jump all over it.
