Simulate the development and progression of an alien species as it evolves from a single-celled organism to a sapient level, rises up through various stages of civilization, and eventually becomes a space-faring species.
There are two ways to add someone to your Buddy list on Spore.
(1) Click image to enlarge.(1) Go to their online account at spore.com/view/profile/NAMEHERE (case sensitive) and make sure you are logged into your Spore account (top right). Click the yellowy-orange plus button. This will automatically add them to your buddy list, and they will automatically be put in your game.
(2) Load up your Spore game and go to the Sporepedia. Click on the Buddies drop down list and do a search for their name. Then click the 'add' text and the user will be added to your list.
Adding your account to the list
If you want to add your account to this list, please reply to this thread with your username on Spore, making sure you have spelt it correctly and have all the capital letters - if any - in the right place. If you want to be super cool, you could link to your Spore page to save me time.
Dicussing other user's stuff
If you want to talk with other people and say "hey, I saw your creature!" or "I destroyed your civilization!" then please head over to iMiles' Giant Bomb Content Sharing thread and do just that. This thread is mainly for people to have their name added to the list and also for saying who you've added, while the other is for the more interesting discussions.

If you have come across an error in this thread such as an incorrect URL or username in the list, please post here and let me know or send me a private message. If it's been a while since you posted and I still haven't added your name to the list, please also send me a private message to make me aware.
Sweet. This is a very good idea, especially seen as I have Allow all creations on at the moment cuz I only have 1 friend in my list, and his creations are crap :(

I've just got spore, and I'm about to add everyone to my friends list. I'm MattyFTM on spore, so add me to the list.
EDIT: The stupid spore site is taking days to load, and the spore game only wants to let me add 3 people to my list. I guess I'll try to add people later.
This edit will also create new pages on Giant Bomb for:
