We really need a 'next-gen' SSX game.

Anyone agree? And what do you want it to include?

I've never played an SSX game, but what I would REALLY like is a PC SSX game. There...isn't one already right?

Yeah, I loved tricky and 3. They were awesome. What I'd like to play is a SSX game with Amped 3 style story. Amped 3 had an insane and hilarious story, but the gameplay wasn't nearly as good as SSX.

I agree.  I think they need to maintain the structure of 3, with one huge environment consisting of smaller tracks and events.  SSX 3 was an incredibly technically impressive game at the time of its release, and I'd love to see the next one kick it up a notch.  Also, they need to bring back the characters.  I didn't play On Tour, but from what I gather, they forewent using the familiar cast of characters in favor of a character creation system which didn't sound nearly as satisfying.

I worry about whether EA actually plans on releasing a new game any time soon.  It seems as though they've all but forgotten about it.

Yeah it did but so far eas big has changed to freestyle and they are said to be working on new IP's...

Did the SSX series sell well?  Lack of sales is the only reason I can think of to explain the lack of a current gen SSX game. 

Since SSX and Burnout are basically spritual cousins, I'd like to see a Paradise-like game for SSX.  Giant moutain to free-roam on, lots of exploration and unlockables.  On-demand multiplayer.  It would basically be SSX 3 on crack.  You'd think EA could have gotten this done by now.

In all honesty, SSX is a rad game. I love it, and I wish I had 7.

SSX Blur on the Wii is a fine game, I cannot wait for those dudes to create a sequel using the Wii Balance Board. A next gen version would be good but after playing the last on Wii I really am more concerned with how well they improve upon those fun controls, than how it looks.

ssx 3 was the first xbox (original) game i played and is the only one i still do sometimes.

After playing SSX On Tour and SSX Blur...they DO need to give us another SSX game...
