    The core module.

The player begins the game with a core module already in orbit. Around the module is a selection of connection points that allow expansion of the station, via the construction of nodes and truss structures. From here, players can select a number of modules, such as solar array's for power, shuttle docks for delivery of crew and supplies, habitation compartments and storage modules for food and water.
