    Taken from Cryptic site:

Powered by the Cryptic Engine, Star Trek® Online will be developed for both console and PC formats. With customizable ships and characters from the Klingon Empire and United Federation of Planets, ground, space and shipboard gameplay and unique options for player-generated content set in the Star Trekuniverse, Star Trek Online is the MMOG that allows you to boldly go where no one has gone before!

A console version will be the end of me. I doubt they pull it off though. Has there been any good MMO's on consoles? and don't say FFXI.

I've never played an MMO on a console... But if I had to guess would any of the Phantasy Star Online games count?

Ah jeez. I was hoping to get away with only playing this on my lunch break at work.  If this comes out on 360.........I don't see myself leaving the house.

Yeah, pretty much the same for me. Though this may be the MMO that gets me back into PC gaming.

This does sound way ambitious. I've always wanted to get into an MMO but never had the right PC, If if comes out and is good it might get me into the genre.

If MMOs were on consoles, that might mean the death of all other genres. Seriously.

It's going to be Champions Online for me if I get any MMO. That looks like a worthy waste of my life.

I think they could pull it of on PS3, given they allow keyboard and mouse support, or they find some way to use the sixaxis as the cursor and some sort of shaking gives an order, the orders would have to be simplified and their would have to be auto lock of course.

I'd probably end up playing it for the PC though.

only one that I can think that pulled it off fine ( minus the keyboard) was PSO for dreamcast. The next one would be ( where the keyboard part comes in ) PSU for ps2 and xbox

Don't think this will work on Console. Also there isn't much point in putting it on consoles as the majority of people who will want to play it will purchase it for PC anyway.
