so the first actual gameplay of star wars 1313 came out and if its all in engine like they say then it looks fantastic. all of the gameplay that they showed was on pc so i guess thats something. something tells me this game will be next gen

and hopefully since there are bounty hunters i hope it could involve expanded universe characters like my favorite embo

PS sorry about the bad montage its the only video i could find of him

Wow, that looks amazing!

I saw this video earlier and the graphics are incredible, but the gameplay looks kinda Unchartedish like a handful of other games. What has me most excited is the tech, can you imagine a Battlefront or Kotor in this engine and with that graphical fidelity? I want it now!

@connerthekewlkid: sold

It's definitely heavily, heavily Uncharted influenced, even down to the reaching towards jump points. Looks amazing though, graphically. I wonder what kind of hardware is running it?

Not sure if it will be anything than Star Wars: Uncharted, but visually it's stunning.

Have to agree with that vibe.

Even as someone who isn't interested in Uncharted at all though- I can't say that's a bad thing. :P (Well- not yet at least. The graphics may be astonishing, but we'll have to wait and see with all the other elements)

I'm betting this comes out on the next-gen

Yeah, like everyone else said, massive Uncharted vibes. It looks really damn good though, I'm interested.

not impress at all, a few 30 seconds clips that are all within the first 5 minutes of the game probably. While it looks good visually, climbing around like uncharted isn't anything new, and combat looked poor. But who cares right, this is a game that will be out when next year? 2014 on orbits? I love how the idiot in the clip is excited and thinks this is something new and unpresidented.

#22 Posted by connerthekewlkid (1838 posts) -

im surprised no one has brought up killzone 2 yet :p

#23 Posted by connerthekewlkid (1838 posts) -

@BoFooQ: you could have just said "i dont like it"

#24 Posted by The_Ruiner (1065 posts) -

I feel like they are really reaching when they call some of this stuff "gameplay"..the shooting most likely is, but all that stuff on the wing of the ship looks highly scripted with very minimal button input. Also..we all know the console version won't look like this, unless it's next gen.

#25 Posted by connerthekewlkid (1838 posts) -

@The_Ruiner: im pretty sure somewhere they said this was next gen

#26 Posted by NTM (7411 posts) -

Oh, whoops. When did you post this? I just made one a while ago. Anyways, I think this looks really good. I'm glad they're making an M rated Star Wars game, I've always felt Star Wars was (like I said before), in a sense, child proof. I'm not even a big Star Wars fan, but this is something I wouldn't at all mind buying. As with most of the stuff shown today at E3, from a game play perspective, it's not entirely original, but it being the quality it is, I don't believe it has to be. Very exciting.

#27 Posted by connerthekewlkid (1838 posts) -

@NTM: THEU BETTER PUT EMBO IN THE GAME

#28 Posted by MistaSparkle (2148 posts) -

Wowww looks noice! I hope it comes at least kind of close to that Jango Fett Bountyhunter game. Shit was tight.

Isn't that what happens if Obama does somethin real bad? He gets unpresidented?

But seriously folks.

This game looks super rad, we're overdue for a kickass Star Wars game. I'm betting this'll be a next gen release.

Looks pretty good, will be nice to see a serious Star Wars for a change. More Empire less Phantom Menace.

Also it looks like there is an abundance of games being shown on PC's this year, there's no way that's coming out of an Xbox dev unit. So much of this stuff is being targeted at the next generation.

#31 Posted by NTM (7411 posts) -

@connerthekewlkid: Ummm, yes?

#32 Posted by Sporkbane (185 posts) -

Wow. So after years of everyone wishing there were more star wars games for a mature audience, they're actually going to capitalize on it. God damn LucasArts has really be slow on the draw for this one.

That said it looks fantastic, graphically. I really hope they pull through with the games story/gameplay and it becomes a hit. Then we might see more Star Wars games for more mature audiences.

#33 Posted by DeathbyYeti (744 posts) -

Star Wars use to be a fun setting for me with lots of color and mystery. Then I grew up and watched the prequels. I couldnt have jumped ship harder

Watch Dogs and this game are next gen

#34 Posted by connerthekewlkid (1838 posts) -

@NTM: sorry wrong person

#35 Posted by Jimbo (9820 posts) -

Ehhhhhhhhh. It does look very pretty, but you can put an awful lot of effort into something if it only has to be 20 seconds long. Is it playable at the show? Really hoping for more than just Star Wars Uncharted.

#36 Posted by connerthekewlkid (1838 posts) -

@Jimbo: there will be a gameplay presentation where they show off an entire level

#37 Edited by TheHT (11378 posts) -

that embo character seems like something else. my at-a-distance interest in the CG clone wars series has always mostly been centered around the bounty hunters, specifically the blue cowboy one.

also, i hope hope hope it comes out on PC. would be pretty shitty for them to be showing it all on a PC and then come out and say "nah man, 'PS4' and '720' only".

#38 Posted by TaliciaDragonsong (8699 posts) -
Was that really necessary? Nope!

Loving it.
#39 Posted by connerthekewlkid (1838 posts) -

@TheHT: well the only confirmed console so far is PC so your in luck

#40 Posted by OtakuGamer (1243 posts) -

It’s going to require a lot more than scripted sequences and cover based shooting to attract my attention.

#41 Posted by Hamz (6846 posts) -

So when they finally decide to make a gritty mature themed Star Wars game they opt to go for a bounty hunter themed game instead of having some serious lightsaber decapitation action!?

#42 Posted by TheHT (11378 posts) -

@Hamz: Just play Jedi Outcast with saberrealisticcombat 999 and save yourself the grief.

#43 Posted by pweidman (2340 posts) -

The premise sounds very cool, but that short bit didn't reveal much except some frantic 'platforming' and even that looked kinda weird. Maybe a longer look will sway me, but that was meh. Keighley was annoyingly dorky too w/his "I told you that would deliver".

You can always use cheat codes in the console of Jedi Outcast and turn on lightsaber dismemberment. Stormtrooper body parts everywhere!

Holy crap it does look good PC or not still very impressive.

#48 Posted by JackLumber (48 posts) -

People say it looks like Uncharted as though that was a bad thing.

#49 Posted by connerthekewlkid (1838 posts) -

@JackLumber: i mean its a genre called action adventure theres not much else you can do with it

@pweidman: hey bro nobody insults geoff Keighley
