The Sequel to Star Wars: BattleFront II. It's current development status is still unknown.
Star Wars Battlefront 3 was in development by free radical studios and the release date or even its chances of release are up in the air. Free Radical was dismantled, however the game seems to be in some sort of working order based on a supposed internally shown trailer that was leaked to youtube which gave the appearance of working gameplay as well as many impressive features such as the ability to fly from the ground to a space station, the trailer also shows off cutscene from the game featuring new jedi characters, one fighting with his bare hands and one wielding a vibro sword, the trailer also showed a scene in which a character is about to fight a rancor, probably in one of the single player campaign levels, and in addition, there was a scene in which you could actually fly a fighter inside the heart of a death star, and one of the newer vehicles avilable for the player to pilot is the Millenium Falcon. However it is unknown if the work that has been done on the game could even be utilized by a new developer.
