I can understand someone being upset that they won't ever be able to revisit their favorite game again, and especially a game where they have strong social contacts. Granted, not many people make a YouTube video to express those feelings. Copious tears are shed, and some choice words are hurled at SOE, LucasArts and Bioware.

Oh dude, crazy, poor girl. I may feel anger too if arenanet shut down gw1 server like that. Well we just have to wait for the GIANT BOMB: The End of Star Wars: Galaxies coverage to find out what have been going on in there.

Bingo. To piggy back off this statement though, TOR and SWG are 2 completely different beasts. TOR is about playing through a set epic story. SWG is about the player creating their own legacy so to speak. I'm not saying either one is better than the other because that's purely 100% subjective, but I can't imagine people would be happy to jump ship after years of building up this online persona/legacy. Not to mention TOR has arguably less depth than SWG. Again, not saying that's a bad thing, but some people just want nothing to do with that.

In all seriousness though, I feel for this girl. I can appreciate why she's upset, but ultimately... she's talking about roleplaying. She's talking about stuff that she, and other people, are making up. You can do that ANYWHERE. You could do it on skype! Or somewhere that it makes sense. Like, oh, I don't know-- THE STAR WARS ROLEPLAYING GAME????
