I finally picked up Kotor 2 on steam. I adore the first Kotor and was wondering if there is anything I should know before hopping in. I already installed the missing content mod so I have that covered already. Anything I should know before going on or things I should install?

the female exile is the canon choice, and the ending is still not great (even with the restored content) so be prepared for that.

Enjoy. I like both of them. I just hope you can get it to work, some people have issues with KOTOR1 & 2 on Steam.

Be prepared for the ending to fall flat. But the build up and the way the Jedi are broken down in the same way I see them (self-righteous pricks) is really cool. It just don't amount to much in the end.

If you want your lightsaber quickly, go to Nar Shaddaa as soon as you can. Hope that isn't too spoilery, but I can't really see it; lightsabers and Nar Shaddaa are in every Star Wars game. I'm playing it through now too, for probably the 12th time though... I have the discs around here somewhere, but I couldn't say no to $2.50 on Steam!
