    The Force Goes Portable

To start with, I don't think I can give any game that hasn't been out for a while a 5 star rating, as part of that rating to me is a question of how much fun can I have with the game over an extended period of time.

With that said, I can't give Force Unleashed a 4 star rating, as I feel like the graphics over all aren't up to what's possible with the system.

However, I think 3 stars is a bit low, as there is more customization and replay value than I would expect from a 3 star game.

So, I'm giving the game 3.5 stars as a balance between a very fun game, with about a half star taken off mostly for some graphical issues.

    ·          Do you like the idea of using Force powers to throw around people and objects, or to zap them with lightning?

    ·          Do you like being able to advance the force powers the way you see fit?

    ·          Do you like being able to tweak your character costume, lightsaber hilt, blade color, and special properties, and then actually be able to see the differences while you're playing?

    ·          Do you like a decent Star Wars story with dialog that makes sense and advances the Plot?

    ·          Do you like replay value?

If you said Yes to even half of these, you're on your way to having a good relationship with Force Unleashed. Just a few more questions though.

    ·          Do you mind not being able to kill everything in one hit with a Lightsaber right from the first level?

    ·          Do you mind waiting about 20 seconds sometimes between the end of one level and the start of the next?

    ·          Do you mind not getting some usually light-side powers like self healing, or mind-tricks?

    ·          Do you mind that mid-level game saves will start you back at the nearest check-point if you re-load them latter on?

If you said No to even half of these, you shouldn't have any issues with Force Unleashed.

I'm not going to go into plot, storyline, etc. Reading the wiki page will give you a good idea of what the game is all about. The one big difference in game play that I've noticed from reading message boards is that the PSP version of the game doesn't have a boss-fight sequence where you have to pull a Start Destroyer out of space; this is done as a cut-scene instead

Mini Review: The force is strong with this PSP 0

This is a review of the PSP version of The Force Unleashed. In some ways I don't need to point that out since one of the most impressive things about this game is that it isn't a downgraded port. Obviously the graphics aren't on par but everything else in this game is exactly the same as the console version. It even has a set of extra levels that pad out the game a little bit. The story may not be relevant anymore but it does a good job of setting up Dark Vader's hidden apprentice along with th...
