i just received an email saying i was violating the rules of conduct on both my characters names!

Captain Vrydagina and Lord Duchbaggerty

You picked names that someone could understandably be offended by or could be considered vulgar. Not too surprising that they were reported.

I originally had Canderous and Bioware made me change it. I didn't like it anyway.

Not yet, but I got an idea that may get me banned. I want to make a Jedi character called Debater. That way when I unlock the Master title my guys name will be Master Debater.

I haven't been banned (my name's pretty average), but there's a dude on my server named Monstercox. If these names got banned, I'm willing to bet his/hers is gonna be gone soon.

I don't understand what this thread is about. Is it about you not realizing they will ban offensive character names in an MMO with a language filter set to on by default about a family friendly IP? Or is it that you truly didn't have the mental facilities to realize those names are offensive and EA can do whatever the crap they want thanks to you agreeing to the EULA?

I still think Buttlovin is a great name for a shaman.

My SWTOR character's name is Catherine Huxley, because the story element actually makes me attached to the character as something more than a walking spreadsheet. Buttlovin was just a reference ID for a thing that dropped totems.
