Here's the important bits:

- Global Play is now live.

- Your character profiles and ladder data are unique to each region.

Rejoice everyone! No longer shall we be separated by 'regions' for no good reason. No longer will you have to buy another copy of the game just to play Starcraft with or against people who live on a different continent. Our separation is finally at and end. Hooray!

This is very good news.

We can finally have all inclusive tournaments too. If we can pick a good time for it, we don't need separate USA and EU tournies.

Yeah I think I read about it on TL a month or two ago maybe, not too sure, but had been playing HOTS so didn't try.

But yeah, messing about during placement matches is fun, but I feel kind of bad lol. I tech'd to banshees by building all my buildings except the first depot and barracks in some guys main lol.

I don't think anyone has used the new system to make a group yet. I'm pretty sure on HOTS they didn't anyway. But it would be cool if someone did, I just don't want to mess around with stuff like that because I don't know how the system works.

LOL hey man don't feel bad, we all do it... I played a game where I built literally nothing but probes... I was maxed on only probes and had mined out every mineral patch on the map bar my opponents main and natural and had the map covered in cannons... was pretty silly
