Sean "Day[9]" Plott, who hosts a very well made daily SCII replay commentary/analysis thing, is nominated for a Shorty award.

The voting is a bit crazy, because only people with older, active Twitter accounts can vote.
Please vote for him.

Day[9] for Shorty Award
" Also, who the fuck is Adam Montoya(the guy who is currently beating Day9)? "That is Seananners. He is a really popular Call of Duty player that does Youtube videos. I think he has like 500k subscribers.
Hell yeh I'll vote for day9. SeaNanners is funny and all, but no-one is as passionate as day9 is.
If you havent watched this vid, then i fully recommend it. Its 110 minutes, but I just finished watching and it was incredibly moving at times.
I voted for Day9! He isn't just a gamer, but a teacher, an advocate for gamers and a hilarious dude. Plus he's pretty damn good at star2.
Yes, everyone vote for Day9 he is so much more worthy of this award than Seananners, he puts in so much more enthusiasm and effort into his videos.
I don't understand this. HuskyStarcraft is doing it too.
It's Twitter awards for best content on Twitter.
None of those people produce any interesting content on Twitter.
But not before saying Day [9] is awful and Husky is where it's at.
Which I guess would mean their entire body of work on twitter. Then in the judging section it says Members of the Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences will carefully review the finalists' tweets and Shorty Interview answers (if any)
So I guess it is only based on their tweets.
" @Froy544: Oops! I'll just excuse myself from this thread now... But not before saying Day [9] is awful and Husky is where it's at. "Yes, incomprehensible squealing, not being able to shed any technical light on the game and constantly asking for subscriptions is the bomb diggity.
" @HaltIamReptar said:I look at it from the point of view of who entertains me more. I get bored watching Day [9]." @Froy544: Oops! I'll just excuse myself from this thread now... I whole heartedly encourage everyone here to vote for Sean "Day9" Plott.
The reason that it is so important for everyone to cast their vote for this guy is not just for the sake of us all seeing our fav commentator/strategist and streamer win something. It's for the greater good of eSports (competitive gaming) in general. Even if you don't watch the daily religiously, vote for Day9. A vote for Sean is a vote for eSports. The shorty awards do get some media coverage as well, so thats a really good thing.
We (you) can't wait for eSports to happen in the mainstream, you have to proactively make it happen. Voting is one easy way for a person to help the cause. If you are one of those people that find eSports stupid and dumb, I'm sorry you feel that way. You are missing out on some really great stuff and Day9 is basically leading the charge in bringing it more into the mainstream in the west. Also as mentioned above search YouTube for Day9 Daily #100. It is a PHENOMENAL video, even if you don't play Starcraft or even video games a lot, you will definitely be able to relate to it. Goes to show just how much passion he has and what can be accomplished.
" I suck like a whore. That is all. "Thanks for the honesty. :D
