Don't get your hopes up bro.  One of the reasons I've gotten a new computer recently, is so I can play Starcraft 2.

FOR ALL WHO WORRY ABOUT THE ABILITY TO PLAY THE GAME-I have PLAYED running on the following specs-
    AMD Sempron 1.8GHz single core
    2 GB of ram (DDR2)
Nvidia GeForce 6100 nForce 405 (integrated graphics) 256MB shared memory.

So Starcraft II continues the blizzard tradition of running on everything including your toaster : D

SC2 is definitely well optimized, but if i were you, I would wait for a demo to try it out on first. And I found this too.

Didn't Blizzard say that Starcraft 2 could run on pretty old systems at some point. Don't believe it's much of a system abuser but I'm sure it needs some degree of dedicated GPU.

I suspect it will run to some extent on most integrated gfx, you might have to turn the res and settings way down though.

I think the Intel 4 series GPU should be able to handle the game with medium settings.

@Adamsons: Completely playable online. Everything on low and 1280x900 resolution. I did it for shits and giggles because I wanted to see if my ghetto PC could run it-Played about 50 matches-I had some small issues in 2v2s in the end game when playing double T and they would mass MM&M + Thorrs. But other then that COMPLETELY PLAYABLE. 3v3 + 4v4 was messed up though.
@jelekeloy: Run it on XP - Running vista with that kind of hardware should be hellish as is. For starcraft 2 run it on XP or upgrade your Processor, Ram and GFX.

@jbs87: Id wonder how cut scenes and the like would go-IDK-Play it by ear and expect to maybe upgrade or something. I can only confirm a low assed PC working in multiplayer settings where there are lower unit counts and less need for AI running.
I could try it out tuesday but i`m upgrading this PC into a media server after I pick up SC :3

Does my 9400M count?  It runs it on low on OSX but in Windows I can put it up to mid and be alright.
