Also everyone should know that Harris' story at the end is amazing and we all had many laughs even after recording late in to the night.
" @Thule: ! Bmbmbmbmbmbmbm "I don't want to get into a big argument over it. However, I've followed the development of DA2 for a long time and I hate everything it stands for. Let's just say that DA2 is a very divisive game and if you're enjoying it, that's fine. Thankfully I didn't actually buy it, so there's no real damage here, I'm just severely dissapointed in BioWare for being lazy.

" Also, please leave comments on what you think of Wunder's Corner! Would you want this to be a REGULAR OCCURENCE? =3 "I liked it, I think it's good you're finally adressing this major topic of concern. Now, personally I'm quite concerned about these Pokemon. Where do they come from, Why do they all have magical powers no one seems to be able to explain? Why do they seem to be sentient, intelligent and capable of speech, but are only able to say their name? And what about the kids, they're basically playing with dangerous creatures and not a single parent seems worried about this. Would you let your child play with a stove? No, then why's a Charizard okay?
And don't even get me started on Professor Oak. What kind of credentials does that guy have? He lives in a tiny village and because he's wearing a lab coat, he's suddenly a Professor?
Is there a new thread or was updating of this thread just forgotten? I was wondering when there would be a new episode, but this thread wasn't updated.
So when I looked on your official archive site, I was surprised to see an episode 18 already up, but no mention of it in this thread.
I'm sure it doesn't help that I am now halfway across the world from where I used to be with a pretty old computer and a not so solid internet connection, so my schedule will pretty much never sync up with everyone else's (this also does not bode well in terms of my ability to participate/contribute to the upcoming tournament).
Here's the graphic I made for you guys. I won't be insulted if you don't like it. The main thing is the text, the background is just a texture, nothing special.
Ah, thank god for the update. Withdrawal sucks, but hopefully you guys do what you need to do and come back with more Wunder's Corner in audio form.
Er, with more Hyperion Radio.
the fighting types are pretty effing strong in this game... you should definately get one imho :>
Sawk is some karate style dude, doesn't evolve, so he hits pretty hard from the beginning
Timburr would be another alternative, it evolves to times (2nd time needs a trade), the third stage is one of the hardest hitting pokemon ever afaik
then there's Roggenrola, a rock pokemon, also evolves 2 times (also needs to be traded) and has exeptional attack and defensive values... it's slow as fuck, but whatever, nothing's going to damage you and everything is going to die!
Drilbur is another really cool one, that mole thing, you can find it in the first cave (where you rescue that girls pokemon) in swirling dust (similar to that wiggling grass)... it's a ground type and evolves to a ground/steel type, hits like a truck and learns dig+earthquake <3
i'd even say you should think about getting 2 of the above and drop one of your current ones since most of them appear to be pretty mediocre lateron (im using sawk and drilbur)
yes, i read way too much theory for the new editions!
- Dewott
- Herdier (Puppi)
- Blitzle
- Musharna
- Sandile (Sandy)
- Pansear
I think I'll eventually dump Musharna and Herdier, but they have decent movesets right now. I've been trying to get a Sigilyph but it's so fucking hard to catch pokemon. Like I seriously get them to || much of life and they still won't get caught by an ultra ball or some shit. Blah TT
Sorry about not having updated this thread( or the podcast for that matter) recently, I've starting to get busy with finals. The podcast is on indefinite hiatus as we've all become busier than previously expected. We hope to continue organizing GBSC2 community events such as the almost-monthly tournaments and perhaps some new events to come.
