Only two weeks in to GSL July and there is a lot to talk about. Code A is already in the round of 8 and 4 groups have been decided in Code S. Six teams have played in the Team League.

The remaining in Code A are Dream, Leenock, Noblesse, Tassadar, vanvanth, Puzzle, Happy and asd. Sheth and Jinro made it to the Round of 16, keeping their spot in Code A for August. Boxer and MMA must fight through the qualifier tournament to get back in.

In Code S NesTea, Trickster, Clide, Ensnare, Genius, TOP, Losira, and CoCa have their place in the round of 16 locked up. July, Violet, Virus, and Alicia will stay in Code S and Rain, anypro, FruitDealer and MarineKing are going to the up and down matches. They haven't said yet how Rain will work into this whole situation because he has been suspended until October because he declined to go to the Group Nomination for July.

In the Team League, TSL, MVP, ZeNEX, HoSeo and StarTale are all 1-0. SlayerS, Prime, and IM are 0-1. Sadly FXO is 0-2 and fOu joins them in the bottom of Group B. Two all kills so far this season, ZeNEX_Hack and NSHoSeo_Sage.

Round of 8 for Code A is on Monday, the final 4 groups will be played over Tuesday and Wednesday. MVP vs oGs is on Thrusday and Friday is FXopen vs New Star HoSeo and IM vs ZeNEX.

Remember to keep your liquibets up to date and if you have a team in the fantasy league, make sure to keep updated on that!

Thanks for the update. I'm watching the team league but skipping the main tournament this month (time reasons).

Whose doing the Code A casting with Wolf? Just revolving casters, or is Unstable sticking around?

It has been a mix of good and bad. The worst team has been gunrun and torch. Best has been QXC and Wolf. Here is my list of best Code A teams

1. Wolf and qxc
2. Wolf and Unstable
3. Wolf and Torch
4. Torch and Unstable
5. Torch and Gunrun

They have already shown what they're going to do with Rain. He didn't play his group matches and people got auto wins. I imagine that's what they'll do for the up/down matches as well. Maybe they'll find a replacement for him for next season's Code A but who knows. If he ever wants to play in GSL again he's going to have to re-qualify, basically. But he left TSL and joined Fnatic, intent on doing foreigner tournaments so I don't think he cares all that much.

@Bwast: I figured they'd do something similar to when Idra left. I don't know if getting back your spot after two months is really fair or warranted
