Naniwa did not play perfectly. He let Losira take 3-4 bases with almost no pressure. That kind of build won't work against a mass expanding low-tech Zerg style like the one Losira was running. Still both of those games were amazing.

I still have faith in the Nani though, he will pull through in the losers bracket!

The way losers looks, could see Nani vs. MC or Thorzian... I think we all want TSL3 part 2

1st game testbug pretty normal game until MMA took his 3rd at the gold, targeting down his own orbital command instead of the rocks and killing it off in the end... everybody was like "lol idra has this" game went on... then a relatively big encounter in the middle of the map and a drop at idras natural which idra came out of ahead of (according to day9 opinion) but then he GGs out of nowhere and leaves the game 2nd game mma went for 2rax bunker pressure, failed initally, gave it another go, killed some stuff, idra ggs.

MMA comes out of the booth drinks a NOS and throws a hadouken towards Idra. Then gives a HOLY CHECK during his interview

@Ramboknife: MMA accidentally destroyed his own CC and was pretty well behind. He went for a fairly all-in push with tanks and drops that appeared to be getting repelled by Idra's mutas. Idra had a supply lead and expansion lead. Then he quit because he though MMA had extra bases and was ahead. The crowd and commentators were speechless.

It was actually worse than Idra leaving to Huk's hallucinated void rays IMO. At least then he could see an army he thought would defeat him. Here he just assumed that MMA had extra bases and units that he didn't have and quit. I mean, MMA's great and it's pretty safe to normally assume he's playing well, but how could you just quit a game without being sure.

Fuck you Idra.

What a very unfortunate game for Idra. I find the idea that people are saying, which is that "Idra threw the game for money" to be pretty despicable, and also the fact he threw the games due to wanting to face off against MC. Upsettingly however, this is only going to increase the Americans animosity towards koreans being invited to the NA events. A lot of Americans, be they the peanut gallery, or the pros are already obnoxiously vocal about their displeasure for koreans being invited, and for MMA to beat Idra like that is only going to make this worse. 
 
I'm not saying that in game 2 Idra was playing well, but....well I'm not sure. I think that he was just brainfucked after that first game, and just went into the game under bad circumstances. Here's hoping Greg can deal with his personal issues and make a comeback
