    I honestly don't think this is that much of a problem. The removal of LAN was to ensure that no third parties were able to make huge money casting SCBW LAN tournaments (KeSPA), but if some tournament tries to use this mod I think Blizzard would have no problem taking the mod down.
     
    Besides we have internet everywhere so if you want to host an SC II match you can just do it online, without LAN.
