Steam Wallet money from market transactions do not count towards your total. We're just talking about real world money that you spent - not store credit. Personally, I spent just under $27 of my own money (almost twice that including money from selling stuff on the market).

Also, for comparison, here's people's estimates from before the sale started.

Spent more than I thought, $260. That got me about 30 games, not including DLC and expansions.

It's my first Steam Sale with a PC though, and am unlikely to buy anything until the next Steam sale so I don't mind too much.

I am planning on playing them too, (famous last words). Got Tomb Raider and started/finished that over the weekend.

It was $69.69 for me. But a tad of that was speculation on cards. Mostly indies, but a couple major releases.

  • The Bridge
  • Papo & Yo
  • Gunpoint
  • The Swapper
  • System Shock 2
  • Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4
  • Bit.Trip.Runner 2
  • Antichamber
  • Thomas Was Alone
  • Dark Souls

I really need to curb my drunken credit card spending.

I spent over 100 on the sale. Then the CC bill came in.

Bought Dark Souls for $12 and Fallout 3 GOTY for like $6. So 11 - 20.
