How much money do you have in your Steam Acc?

#1 Posted by BillyTheKid (432 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

I am talking straight up money in the wallet just sitting there currently. I currently have a whopping 0.12$ in there. I have only once had it back down at zero dollars. How much money do you have in there?

£0, because I'm still trying to figure out how I can get half life 2 for free so I can play some mods.

#10 Posted by Ezakael (461 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

Another $0 because I use my debit card to make purchases.

#11 Edited by Fattony12000 (4379 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

#16 Posted by BillyTheKid (432 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

@9cupsoftea: Buy Counter Strike, it is cheaper and you can play most, if not all of the mods. Source not 1.6 of course.

#17 Posted by SmilingPig (1276 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

4 rupees.

#18 Posted by buft (3145 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

37p, dunno why i have that in their, i think its the change from buying some stuff to make my team fortress a premium account, i usually just buy stuff straight out but for some reason i couldnt get it too work for TF stuff, so i put some money in the wallet and it worked.

#19 Posted by PeasantAbuse (4779 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

$0.07, I sold a TF2 decal thing and a crate.

#20 Posted by Subjugation (4333 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

$2.51, only because I wanted to open a Dota 2 crate and the key cost $2.50. The smallest amount you can put in to your Steam wallet is $5. It will be back down at 0 very quickly.

#27 Posted by Monkeyman04 (491 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

#29 Posted by CatsAkimbo (432 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

#30 Edited by C2C (787 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

None, debit card user here.

#31 Posted by MikkaQ (9718 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

I never really got the point of the wallet, they just charge my credit card with the exact price of the game. So $0.

None, PayPal is handy when buying from any of the 6 or 7 sites I purchase from.

Although, during the winter sale I spent probably all my game funds until July or August.

#34 Edited by FrankieSpankie (220 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

$0 - I just use my credit card to make purchases.

Although I did have money on the Steam wallet once when I got a $50 American Express good anywhere kind of gift card. I just bought $50 steam wallet money with it and used it. I found it to make me much more likely to buy games since the money is already on my account.

#35 Edited by DougCL (164 posts) - 3 months, 6 days ago

$0.04. it was 20 not 2 hours ago, but i made some purchases.

i usually use my card, but i traded in Aliens Colonial Marines at GameStop and decided to buy a steam card with the money.

Never used Steam Wallet and never will.

#39 Edited by GERALTITUDE (1060 posts) - 3 months, 5 days ago

Who puts money in a digital wallet if they don't have to?

#40 Posted by CornBREDX (3421 posts) - 3 months, 5 days ago

None, because I just straight out buy whatever i want when i need it no sense leaving extra funds just sit there.

Yep. Me too. Probably the only thing I actively hate about consoles is their insistence you have to use their currency.

I can see its usefulness as a reward to your kid or in things like that maybe, But as a sole way to pay for games is just idiotic. Always hated that. It's intentionally wasteful of the users money.

#41 Edited by cbarnes86 (397 posts) - 3 months, 5 days ago

$0.93

Bought a $50 card with my Christmas Gamestop cards and have only bought a couple of games with it.

#42 Posted by Hector (3204 posts) - 3 months, 5 days ago

0.02. I just put funds in my wallet enought to buy the games that are on sale during events.

#43 Posted by TobbRobb (3306 posts) - 3 months, 5 days ago

Debit card.

#44 Posted by Winternet (7349 posts) - 3 months, 5 days ago
