A digital distribution service owned by Valve Corporation. Originally created to distribute Valve's own games, Steam has since become the de facto standard for digital distribution of PC games.
You can get them cheaper at http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/fallout/ without DRM, patched for compatibility, and has a soundtrack. For once, I don't think you should get them from Steam (unless they come in a bundle that's cheaper than $12).
Joining Steam was the greatest decision I had ever made in my life. Glad to see these old games coming to the service, seeing as I haven't really played a whole lot of PC games, but getting into it.
Oh man, Kingpin. Possibly the sweariest game of all time? Here's a cool story for you, bros: I spent about 7 hours downloading the Kingpin demo back in the day and then it didn't work because I didn't have a 3dfx card. Jesus rage.
It's still worth checking out just for the dialogue near the start of the game which goes something like this:
"Hey, man, you gotta dollar?" "Shit, man! I ain't got a dollar!" "Fuckin' piss off!"
@Emilio: But couldn't they work out some sort of deal? The games are already there; it's just not possible to purchase them all in a single package, which I think would be nice.
