They are revealing small details each day this week; so far it looks like they are killing the current incarnation of the steam forums; and in their place, there will be a forum tab attached to each game's main page, along with everything else associated with that game.

They are also really beefing up community groups, including the addition of group forums.

There is still more new stuff coming over the next two days.

Seems promising - they're probably trying to set themselves further apart from what Origin offers.

Making steam groups more community-minded and easier to access/fumble through sounds like a good thing - the current iteration is kind of a hassle, as you can easily miss out on comments and such unless you keep an eye on your group's steam page all the time (which may even be the case in the updates)

Also, pretty obvious in hindsight, but that "counter" on the page is a complete lie. Refresh the page.

All the same, it's in dire need of a purge.

Though, admittedly, I have found help more than once googling "help I have this really fucking weird error for my game" and finding a page from 2007 of somebody who had the same problem. Pity that PC gaming wiki didn't catch on, because I could certainly do without that experience again.

Does this mean Steam will get that controller hooked up to TV friendly update also?
