@Yukoei: Lol, I just saw your other thread, the gameplay is probally going to be the same, only different kind of missions.

What didn't you like about GTA4? I didn't like it on my first play through at all, I thought it was great the second or third play through.

If you enjoyed Vice City, chances are good you will enjoy The Ballad of Gay Tony.  If you like Sons of Anarchy, chances are you will enjoy Lost & Damned (oh and male p*nis in the face). :D

Weird. I liked it my first playthrough but on my second playthrough  (which was probably 12-14 months) I found it completely unplayable.

It wasn't chaotic enough like the other GTA games.

Dawn of War II Chaos Rising (I would spend the extra 10 bucks and get DoW 2 as well in the Gold Pack)
    Stalker Call of Pripyat
    Left 4 Dead 2
    Mount and Blade Warband
Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse

Though the best choice I think is just to save up for a bit - it's spring and you know what that means, Steam Spring Sale is probably coming up.

@Yukoei: what about saints row 2? Sure it runs really lousy on pc, however it's really fun and alot more chaotic.

I wasn't too keen on GTA 4, but I enjoyed both episodes.  Saints Row 2 is brilliant, and a lot closer in tone to the GTA 3 games - but I don't know how the PC version turned out.

@Jimbo: Pc version of saints row 2 was choppy on everyone's rig regardless of the power, however there was a patch on steam that made it playable. I also played saints row 2 on consoles which ran fast.

I recommend that game to the op, might be worth playing if he wants chaos, either that or just cause 2 which is more expensive.

Any STALKER game. Perhaps Call of Pripyat is your best shot if you're not used to that kind of game. Or I would have bought Zeno Clash. Very good game. There is a recent QL up on the site of the game which you've probably noticed.

I would add Killing Floor for $20 if you want a game that blends elements from Left 4 Dead and Modern Warfare on a budget.

Mount and Blade Warband is probably the best game ever made. I have sunk several hundred hours into the original mount and blade. The only reason I don't buy this is because I don't buy things off steam (Because steam is gay yo)
Also you can purchase it with paypal off their website without the stupid steam shit..I think anyways. And probably buy it in the budget section at Wal mart. I would suggest doing those instead of supporting steam, which is weaksauce.
