Somebody smarter than me could probably come up with a complicated and better organized system to do this but since everybody else is just going to post "HAVE X WANT Y" I guess I just start.

Might be worth someone throwing up a ' i have a spare beta invite' thread too - not many people seem to even be aware of this thing - and the trading group chat is full of people demanding multiple games for an invite to the beta.

They just announced a new wave of invites sent (apparently yesterday they sent 10000 and perhaps it's the same number this around too)... but I still didn't get any.

I play a lot of don't starve and dota so I hope I get an invite so I can start earning trading cards!

i have a spare Tiny dota 2 card that i would like to trade for any non-Tiny/Bounty Hunter/Phantom Lancer dota 2 card

Can someone explain how you like, use the cards you have to craft stuff? I'm super confused about that part.

Just putting it out there, the beta invites for trading cards are going for about 25c on the marketplace. I know it's dumb to pay for, but if you really want in right now, just buy an invite.

I've got a G-man, Gordan Freeman x2 and a Trouble underground card. All from half life 2 obviously. Up for any TF2, Portal2 or any HL2 cards I don't have yet.

Still haven't gotten an invite, but will probably trade cards once I do. I'm kinda fucked so far though, as I don't play many of the games on the list. Haven't touched TF2 in ages, and don't think it is wise for me to play DOTA as I would only play it casually at best.
Hopefully the number of games will increase, and that there will be more singleplayer games on there.

I went and spent real money on steam trading cards to complete a set do not make my mistake do not live the life I live.

@jaqen_hghar: Don't you worry, the site even says "We'll be adding more as we get them done." in their list of games.
So they will add more, no need for us to sit around and hope.

All we can do now is play the waiting game*.

I sold all my cards for a total of 20 USD. The only ones I'm missing are the DOTA2 cards. Do I need to have DOTA2 premium to get those? That set doesn't even show up in my Quests.

The sad/sexy thing is that I'm probably the most balls deep into TCGs (digital and analogue) out of all of you, I've been watching this weekend's Dragon's Maze PT coverage. The thought of grinding out DIGITALLY CRAFTABLE VIDEO GAME TRADING CARDS is just getting me wholly damp.

I just want to know what Valve's economist is thinking creating an economy with no way to get any more cards once they're gone. That's not fun. But it is profitable... Valve's economist has taken over! We need to send in out top fungineers to sort out this mess.

It's so shady that you have to pay $9 to get another card drop in the F2P games. It's cheaper just to buy any remaining cards from the steam market.

Yeah, that really sucks. I'm not really happy with the system at all, I kinda thought that they would "reset" the card drops after some time but it seems like that's it. So if you really want to complete your sets you have no real option than to hand out some cash.
