Don't worry, i think a lot of peoples Dota 2 hours eclipse everything else. Mines up around 1250, nothing else is even close. Although to be fair I just remembered I probably watch more tournament games in client than I play at this point.

Fallout 3 with maybe 300 some hours, but a lot of that comes from me playing it before school and leaving it on when I left so I could start again as soon as I got back. ;p

#1 is The Binding of Isaac with 220 hours. Second is TF2 with 207, but I'm sure I was idling for hats for a decent chunk of that. None of my others even crack 100.

@jadegl: Well the standard MMO excuse is "Lawl I just used it as a chat room, I have a life I swear." Or alternatively "there are people with 20 times as many hours as me." For point of reference 30 days played is probably about average for an MMO played for more than a month or two.

A lot of that is idling though, I even fell asleep playing MH once (late night Sister Minister runs).

TF2. Over 1200 hours over 3 years. It was my DOTA.

I've cracked out like 600+ hours in Guild Wars 2, and while it's not on Steam, I run it through Steam for the overlay. So I count it.

Otherwise, Skyrim has 181 hours, New Vegas wasn't counting all my time (currently says 70 but I know it was more) for a while so that's probably similar.

Also I have both on 360 so those numbers are probably way bigger overall.

986 hours on Dota 2, and that's 98% game time, I've watched maybe 5 or 6 games through the client.

over 300 hours on TF2, since I was playing that before they started counting. No idling on that.

Borderlands 2 - 134 hours

Second is Skyrim with 82 hours.

Champions Online: 297 hours.

Left 4 Dead 2: 178 hours

173 hours in Fallout: New Vegas. But the more surprising thing to me was seeing that I had played Batman: Arkham City for 75 hours. I don't even know how that happened.

I liked cruising around old timey LA and chased down every one of those silly gold reel collectibles, badges and cars.

I think I left it running sometimes too while doing other things. Definitely could have smashed through much quicker if I had wanted to.

Wow, I don't even remember making this thread. My 155 hours playing Company Of Heroes now seems pretty trivial compared to the 2400 hours I have spent playing Dota 2...

Dota 2, soon to be 1500 hours. Most of that time isn't me actually playing, though.

Almost two thousand hours in Team Fortress 2, couple of hundred in DotA 2, countless hours in Counter-strike 1.6.

So the game that's been played by me most is Don't Starve for 70 Hours. I've really enjoyed that game.

Yeah boy! I've played TF2 for 1167 hours. Also, I started playing TF2 before Steam started keeping track of this stuff. For me it was just a go-to game for the longest time when I had nothing else to play. I've also probably spent most of that thousand hours between Dustbowl and Badwater.

All of these pale in comparison in time spent playing WoW, Minecraft, or Skyrim on 360.

Kerbal Space Program has become my most played game.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has become a go-to game for me, something that I can jump into and out of at a moment's notice, and as a result the number of hours played has climbed and climbed. I only started doing this a few months ago, though, so it's only at 85 hours, 14.1 of which have been over the past two weeks. This is pretty tame compared to what most people have said, but 15 hours is generally the most that I put into any multiplayer shooter total, not just a sample of how much I play it over time. This doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon, though, so it will likely be the first Steam game I own that I put more than 100 hours into. (side note: I played Skyrim for over a hundred hours on the 360 before buying it on the PC, so that's actually the most played game I have in my Steam library, some of it was just played on another system).

It's followed by Skyrim at 78 hours, Borderlands 2 at 57 hours, and Doom 3 BFG at 54 hours. I won't deny that I've played more than enough Doom 3, but that's actually more like Doom 1 and 2 played with a controller while listening to podcasts. Following Doom 3 BFG is Dark Souls II, at 48 hours.

I think its DS2 150+. Though I bet I have the most hours on Braid, 20 hours! I finished that game too many times and I still don't have the speed run achievement :P.

Like 600 in Crusader Kings II

I've got 477 hours on Marvel heroes. Granted, I think there's quite a bit of idle time in there, but I poured a lot of hours into it, nonetheless.

Behind that, I've got 293 hours on Lords of the Rings Online.

Rather disgustingly, I have 126 hours on The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot. Really though, that was only because I quit the game after 5 minutes, only to have it secretly still running in the background for a few days. Early Access bugs making me appear as though I even remotely enjoyed my time with that game, makes me kinda sad.

I notice a theme of repetitive F2P games here. Weird...

The Steam version of it's way broken so it wouldn't reflect it right but it should be highest with hundreds of hours.
