I've been a Steam user for a while now and can't really understand what's the deal with this Sync Cloud. It synchronizes something every time I finish playing a game and again when I quit Steam.
What is Steam Sync?
It syncs your save files to the cloud. So if you play on a different PC or somehow accidentally delete your save files, your save files will still be there for you. Not all games support it, but it's a super useful and awesome feature.
It uploads more than just saves. Keybindings, mouse settings, multiplayer sprays, gamepad settings, basically everything that isn't limited to hardware (Which is pretty smart).
Cloud computing is the future.
