Okay guys so I am trying to download a game on steam but everytime I try to play CSS my game stops downloading...what the fuck?! Are you telling me I cant play a game for 4 hours?
Why would they do this and is there a way around them?
They do it so you don't lag like fuck when playing a game, I think you can turn it off though try looking in the settings, but really you don't want to be downloading a game at full speed while trying to play another game, it will just lag and know one likes lag.
Seriously do you wanna be playing the CS:Source with 400+ ping? Just play some Single Player game in the meantime, watch a movie, read a book, or next time buy a physical copy of the game.
I understand your concern if you want to play a single-player game, but you really wouldn't want it to download while you'll playing a multi-player game like Counter-Strike Source.

Does it work when playing a single player game?
I am downloading Episodes of Liberty City and just got Trine for $5 can I play Trine while its downloading?
