Unfortunately, I have some concerns about it. Name, that there doesn't seem to be a lot of excitement for the game right now and - more importantly - it's only selling for $40. A brand new console game selling $20 under normal prices? And on top of that, Amazon is discounting it another $3.00 or more.
I'm tempted to grab the pre-order at only $36, but I really question the depth and content of a $40 game like this. I don't believe that a higher price typically means more value, but in this case I can't understand why a developer would discount their game by 33% compared to others out there. Are they so confident that they'll get massive sales compensating for the low price and driving them into this new (for the developer) style of game? Or are they LACKING confidence and just dropping the price so they'll at least sell *some* copies?
Also, does anyone know if GiantBomb has an amazon referal ID? I buy a LOT of games via amazon and I know a lot of others here do, too. Imagine if a few hundred of us always used a GiantBomb referal link? Could probably really help out with costs. Just a thought.
