If you haven't started watching, you have already missed the best Gen ever was amazing to watch.

Evo2K9 is now long over, videos are starting to go up on IGN.com watching right now and its great quality, I can alrdy tell you that the 15$ needed to become a ign insider is well worth it...I'll post more thoughts as more videos go up.

They are going to be showing the new Tournament Edition sticks that will be sold at Comic Con exclusively, and Daigo will be on later, in a exhibition match I believe.

Anyone see that guy teleporting constantly with Dhalsim? Said he was showboating afterwards and it wouldn't work against better players, but it looked pretty effective to me :)

Have any idea of what time the last pool will form? like the quarter, semi and finals.

Today is the staring day for Evo 2009!  What is Evo?  It is a fighting game tournement held once a year.  It is considered the biggest fighting game tournament of the year.  For the first time, they will be playing Street Fighter IV, which I'm excited about.  Today is just a bunch of pool matches.  Tomorrow there is some semi-final stuff.  Sunday is the best day with all the finals.  For more information about Evo 2009, such as schedules, rules, etc., check out there website here.  Also for the first time this year, they have a stream up.  There are using UStream, which is awesome.  I will put the live stream here but, if you want to chat, click this link right here.

After watching "I Got Next", I've been playing a lot of Street Fighter games in hopes of playing on a tournament level at some point down the road...  Maybe in a few centuries I'll be at EVO.

I would't believe any of it myself. SRK will have any result confirmations anyway.

We should be able to watch it all tomorrow, perhaps they are still recording even if they're not streaming, Besides, I'm pretty confident more than a few people have their cameras out, they must surely be recording some of the best footage ready to post on SRK tomorrow..

I fell asleep watching this in bed last night ahha. Watched hours of this it was great. Thanks for making this thread or I would of just missed it. ALSO! DAMN THIS GUY'S PLAYING GEN! I love watching Gens. Especialy in tornaments.

HD remix looks super dull. Watching Daigo is awesome, but those matches are nothing more then hadouken spam fests. I am glad I didn't shell out the cash for that game.
