Free SFIV Brawler Costume Pack right now

Free Brawler Pack Download

Thanks to Xeiphyer for linking me to the Freezecracker forums who pointed this out. Right now (as of 10:20pm PST) the Brawler pack is up for grabs on xbox.com's page (though it still says it costs money if you try to buy it via your xbox) Just take the link, add it to your queue, and it's all yours.

It's the costumes for El Fuerte, Rufus, Zangief, Honda, and Abel, iirc.

Note: Only available for xbox users at the moment.. Maybe PS3 will see something similar in the near future, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for posting this. Though I literally returned my 360 copy of SFIV minutes ago.

Nice find, I just saw this on cheapassgamer.com.
I have no use for the code though, since I bought the Collector's Edition of Street Fighter IV.

Nah, I play on PS3 primarily. I just buy a used game a week before a pre-order of mine is fulfilled. Then, I return the game at its full used price when I go to pick up the new game. I get a few achievements out of it without actually spending money and I have something to tide me over; in case, I bought FFXIII.

Yeah =/ But there are rumors going around that they might do this with all of the packs. No promises yet, but that would be nice of them if they did.

Of course, that could be because they are planning on selling new costume packs when Super Street Fighter IV is released...

Well yeah, that's a given. But I had assumed they'd still be charging for the original packs, too. So if it turns out the first alternate packs are free, that'd at least be nicer than ALL of the packs costing money. And I'm pretty sure they said that the SFIV costume packs will be compatible in Super, though don't quote me on that.

I wish there was a thing were I could get emails or notifications about stuff becoming free... I got this, but I could of so easily missed it.

Sadly, you have to be 18 or older to buy stuff from Xbox.com instead of the Dashboard. Poor me.

Takes less than an hour to unlock all characters, could probably do it in half.

Wow, that sucks.

Hmm what if you make a dummy xbox live account and set the age on it to 18+, could you DL them via that account and still have them accessible on your normal account?

Too much effort for something that hardly affects me (Because really, I never use any of those characters). If I was stupid enough to buy the alternate costumes, I would buy them all.

My buddy mains Zangief, and another one of my buddies mains El Fuerte. They'll be psyched to finally have the alternate costume.

I just bought that bundle that had all of them when it came out. Much cheaper than buying all the packs separately if I remember correctly. I play this game so much that the costumes were worth it imo.
