Since now I've been using the analog stick. There is no chance in hell I will ever get a fightstick ever. So I need help getting used to d-pad. Stuff like specific thumb position/movement.

Like how should I put my thumb on it? Cover two buttons at once, cuz that's what I do with my right thumb. How do I do srk motion, half-circle, qcf, 360 motion. Or something like Guile's super/ultra?

Most people who play on a pad seriously use a "claw" style and push the buttons with their index finger and middle finger. They still use their thumb for the d-pad. Thats all I can tell you. I stopped playing pad a long time ago.

Don't use the tip of your thumb to press the buttons. Stick the base of your thumb in the little gap in the center and just shift slightly from there so make the motions. I grew up using d-pads so they are more natural to me than using an analog stick but I guess these days that puts me in a minority...

If you buy a fight PAD, which I used to use, the buttons are laid out in a way that you can press all 6 buttons on the face within reach of your thumb.
You also have the advantage of a great d-pad, and good shoulder buttons for x3 punch, kick.

No, I don't work for Madcatz, it really is good :P

The motions will only come with practice. It also helps to learn what "negative edge" input is. There are some nice tutorials around, just Google it.
