I was thinking of getting a fight-stick in anticipation for SSFIV. I have never used one and it will require a bit of practice for me to get used to it.

Is THIS FIGHT STICK any good?

It works well with my budget but i'm not sure if its a piece of crap or not.

I dont want to spend a lot of money to realize i dont even like playing with a fight stick.

Those are good for short term or backup sticks. But eventually the buttons will start to jam and you would want to replace them. The stick itself should be good when you glue down the metal washer. There have been stories where the washer will grind at the control board and break that way.

Mine is a piece of shit, or rather was out of the box. But for $40 it is a steal. If you play a lot make sure to buy replacement buttons and stick, those will cost another $30 total. Good deal seeing you get a TE after doing that for half the price.

it's not that bad, but you would want to get legit parts in it as soon as possible. It's better than an ex2 or shit like that.

I've read so-so things, I think you're better off kicking in the extra money for a proper Tournament Edition stick. I have a TE, and it is ROCK SOLID.

Its okay, you're going to want to mod it if you get srs at all. Seriously just save up the extra 40$ or so and get the TE.

Make that $80, you are going to want an extra set or two of buttons  for when you beat the shit out of your stick after you lose to some lag abusing douche face.
