SE stick

I use the 360's analog stick. In some trials though, I had to switch to the horrendous D-Pad because I find it easier to dash compared to the analog.

Stick for Guile, 360 controller for err'body else.

I use the Xbox 360 dpad. I'm probably one of the only few. I would have to practice using the analog to be efficient with it. But I can tell you, I wish I had a fight stick. lol

Arcade stick is the only way.

How anyone can use the xbox D-pad, I will never know.

There is no option for both 360 analog and d pad.

I found making your own stick was well worth the money. Especially since the TE sticks are so hard to come by. 

Stick... You can't learn how to play in the arcade without one!

Fight pad

I'm playing it on the pc right no, I use the logitec cordless rumble pad 2 and it works well. The dpad is good and stuff, I heard ppl were having trouble using the dpad on the xbox360'd controller. The game was just released on steam a few days ago from this post.

A.  As much as I would like to get a good fight stick, I am not willing to spend the money for one

I use the 360 D-Pad and Analog Stick, but mostly the D-Pad.

It takes getting used to, but the 360 analog stick works great....terrible terrible d-pad though, pretty much useless in sf4

I dropped a chunk of change on the Tournament Edition Fight Stick for my PC.... but I've yet to really dive into SF4, it just seems a bit overwhelming at times with how deep the fighting system is and how long its been since I've played any Street Fighter.

But the Stick is great for ZSNES

I recently laid down the money for a Tournament Edition FightStick. I regret nothing. Best way to play the game.

I am so good at SFIV I can use a ps3 pad on a 360 and still win.

 Since forever I have been using the 360 analog. There is only so much you can do with it though, which should be expected. Just try anything that requires canceling. Honestly, to even be a scrub Ryu you need to cancel out of srk to go into ultra. So I just ordered a fight pad about 5 minutes ago (Ken version!!) and if that goes well, I will step up to a stick. Maybe I will finally be able to beat SpecialBuddy's god damn Rufus!

I actually use the Guitar Hero controller most of the time.  Surprisingly I do not suck!

I use a gamepad with a big, old-style d-pad (thrustmaster dual trigger 3in1). I am a most casual SFIV player, though - just in there for the retro fun.

I use the PS3's D-pad mainly because that's my fighting game go too controller.

I might buy the Fightpad but that's not until I get a job.

E. Custom stick.  Maple case, cammy artwork, JLF + Seimitsu buttons. 

Made the move to stick about 10 days ago. The SE works well when it wants to, but overall it has shoddy construction. Hopefully my Sanwa parts will get here next week....at my current rate, all my buttons will be dead by next weekend.

I don't use any because I sold my copy of SF IV. Haha.

i learned how to play SF in an arcade, so the stick is what i'm comfortable with.

I use the official fightpad and it gets the job done. I would like a stick, but just can't justify shelling out the dough to get a good one.

has to be a stick, if you want to get anywhere half decent with SF.

D-Pad, I use d-pads for every 2D game I play.

 I use the PS3 controller's D-Pad.

I use a keyboard.

I Saitek P880, it's the only PC controller i have, it's a very bad transition from that to a 360 controller when playing with friends.

Modded, the SE is cheaper and better then a te (much smaller)
 
I spent 80 on se, 25.95 on sanwa 8 way/4way stick, and 12 bucks on buttons. Best controller ever.
