He did in street fighter 2 ....but he doesn't have a remixed theme in street fighter 4 :/
Street Fighter IV
Game » consists of 9 releases. Released Jul 18, 2008
After nearly a decade in hiatus, Capcom's signature mainline fighting game series resurfaces with its fourth main installment, combining the traditional 2D gameplay with modern fully-3D graphics.
Why Doesn't Balrog have his own theme ?
Well they've said in developer blogs that they're bringing back everyone's classic theme songs in SSFIV. Of course they won't be featured prominently in the game, as the current characters in SFIV with themes you'd never know had them -- since they aren't traditional stage music and only appear in rival battles. But that's ok, custom soundtracks for the win.
This is the best version of Balrog's theme, without a doubt...PUNCHIN' MY WAY ON THROUGH LIFE!

Well, I'm pretty sure you're talking about SFIV with this, but I just want to point this info out: In SSFIV, every online battle will have the theme of the character you are going against if you change certain matchmaking settings." since they aren't traditional stage music and only appear in rival battles. You know, hearing that song for the first time and reading up on some of the Street Fighter story makes me think that it could have such a better plot behind it than it does now, at least for the character's history side of things. Vega being scarred and turning evil 'cause he saw his mother being killed by his father in front of him, Balrog being evil because of a messed up childhood and wanting to be at the top so everyone would finally respect him... It's interesting."

GET BACK !

I have the 3rd strike soundtrack but maybe I should get the SF4 one too. I tend to listen to trance/techno music when playing for some reason. I never listen to that stuff outside of playing SF4, but when I'm playing it gets me in the right mood I guess?
I also listen to silence, because nobody in this game uses a michrophone to talk for some reason.
More to the point why hasn't Capcom fixed the three rotated names :-
- Balrog The Boxer is actually meant to be M. Bison (a takeoff Mike Tyson, who he styled off)
- Vega the Brazilian fighter is actually meant to be Balrog
- M. Bison the holder of PsychoPower is meant to be called Vega
Claw will forever be Vega, Balrog does not suit him as a name at all. He's Spanish, not Brazilian. M. Bison also cannot be called Vega, that's whimpy for a man wielding psycho powers. BIISSSOONN!! *flames rise up* Balrog however is fine as Balrog, Boxer, or Mike Bison. People in America would be pretty puzzled and upset if they changed the names of these characters IMO." I just think it's silly that Capcom never bothered to put their real names back. "

@FluxWaveZ:
I agree, the story could be dealt with better, but what can ya' do? Also, what you say about being able to turn on these rival music in player vs. player battles is awesome. Hopefully that's true, although I may get tired of hearing Akuma's theme over and over again since I fight Akuma's 90% of the time.
" @lordofultima: I still want to fight you, btw. "Haven't seen you send an invite in at least 3 days, I thought you just gave it up. Indeed, if you are on we will fight.
" It's because he's black that he doesn't get a theme. "Well DeeJay is getting one, but everyone loves those Jamaican-style black people. So festive and friendly! </racism>
I really wish that they would remix everyone's theme (and make good themes for all the new/returning characters) and set it so that when you do a versus match there's a chance it'll play the stage music of the stage you selected to fight on, player 1's character theme, or player 2's character theme. It's such a shame we hear the awesome nostalgia-inducing tracks that everyone wants to hear only during rivals matches against the computer. A damn shame!
Or they could just give us a BGM select on the stage select screen.
" Speaking of black characters, I hope to hell that one of the remaining characters to be revealed is Elena. "Seriously doubt it, that rumor list from way back was spot on. Dudley, Makoto, Ibuki, and Hakan most likely.

" There is an option to play the opponents music theme, instead of stage theme for versus, it is unknown if it's the same for online."
But I also heard that that option was available for online by putting in certain requirements or options, so it's probably true.
It's in one of those Japanese blogs I think, don't feel like looking it up now. Either that or Seth Killian confirmed it, not sure which." @lordofultima: Whhhhaaaaaaaatttttt??!!?! Source please!! "
In SSFIV all characters will be getting a remixed version of their theme - how did that come about?" Cool, between that and the quote above that's good enough for me. Exciting!! I was expecting that feature to be left out. Very glad it isn't. "
Tomozawa:
The biggest reason was that this was a huge request from a lot of the fans. In the comments on the official blog, even if the entry had nothing to do with music there would be comments such as "no remix theme for such and such character?" We felt that this is something people really wanted, so when it was time to make SSFIV this is one of the first things we decided on. This time, we would definitely have themes for all the characters.
This time, we can hear the remix themes outside of the rival battle, right?
Tomozawa:
That's right. As the people also wanted to hear them during battles, we made it so that this can be easily unlocked. Ms. Shiozawa already mentioned it on her blog last week, but to explain it again - on the Status screen if you set your icon and title, it will unlock the Arrange BGM option. From Sound in the Options menu, set Arrange BGM to on and you'll be able to hear the remix themes during battle. And when you go into an online lobby, you will hear either a stage BGM or the remix BGM randomly. Also, for all rival battles, this time around you will hear your own character's theme.

I would like to see a totally new one, I don't think the SF2 original should be used for the basic melody.
" I would like to see a totally new one, I don't think the SF2 original should be used for the basic melody. "I agree . I think using the same basic melody from the original games would be stale . They should make a new one and keep it fresh . New street fighter new theme .
