They're not any more essential to the cast as any other of the fighters. They are simply annoying, as scrub players and as CPU players.
A character that is easy to learn should not be overpowered or overskilled, else the novice players won't change to other characters. "
They are easily more essential than some of the other characters.In SF3 for example, they were the only two world warriors put in, and that was due to popular demand that formed following the announcement that none of the original were to be put in."

Well to me they're the same as other characters. Only a little more annoying though.

@jakob187: the irony isnt lost on me...

I do think cammy is annoying though, maybe not cheap, it's more of a repetitive/boring match issue. I can usually beat cammy's, and i'd love nothing more than to never have to play that match-up, even though i barely do as is. it's just an issue of cammy has to clear distance to hit an enemy, she has 2 means with which to do it, and the player has to sit in place and wait for the spiral arrow or the variable. In my head I'm envisioning right now me in a crouched defensive position, and a cammy moving back and forth wasting time on the other side of the screen. The characters who REALLY rape gief are Bison, Sagat, and Honda, but I don't think Bison and Honda are cheap characters

And i say Sagat is cheap because... he is... don't disagree with me on that until you've played a gief on sagat match... or any character vs. sagat, really.

I really don't like Gen, but since he's from Alpha I will say Fei Long. I have yet to meet someone who plays him seriously, and even if I did, he still isn't a very effective character.

I would trade T.Hawk for Guy and that's it, everybody else stays. imo. Maybe trade Fei Long for Sodom or Rolento, fucking hate Fei Long. Other than that theres nobody I want to see other than Charlie, and nobody else i'd be willing to part with. Besides SFII has Guile so it doesnt need Charlie.
