Have you ever wanted to play the best RPG ever released on PS1 and not pay $150 for it? It looks like you're finally in luck. I gave up hope for a Suikoden VI long ago, but this helps fill the void a little bit.

Link isn't working for me. Hope this is true, though. Been waiting for this game since the release of PS classics.

Definitely a day one purchase for me if it compatible for Vita. So glad I still have an original PSone copy though!

Oh, thank god. I've been getting eBay listings on it for a while, but never pulled the trigger because people will price gouge the fuck out of you. I don't even care if its the same bad translation if they just put it out.

Also, this means that it'll be available on Vita too? (Don't have a PS3)

My friend and I were just talking about this game the other day and how it should get rereleased on PSN. This is pretty sweet news.

    Also your link is broken.

    Edit: Link works now. Weird.

I really liked Suikoden III when I played it two years ago, and I wouldn't mind a copy of Suikoden II that isn't mind-breakingly expensive.

@arbitrarywater: Suikoden V is the best; Suikoden II's not too bad though. Actually reading Three Kingdoms is a lot better than playing a game with characters from it.

It should go without saying but Vagrant Story is a shitload better than any Suikoden.

@fredchuckdave: I feel like I should take a drink every time you mention Vagrant Story whenever vaguely tactical or unorthodox JRPGs are mentioned. I'd buy suikoden V if I could find it for less than $30, a seemingly impossible feat.

I already own the game and played it a ridiculous number of times, but if this is a thing that happens I will gladly buy it again and continue playing it.

The first time I played V I was pretty certain it had trumped 2 as my favorite Suikoden, but as time has past I've gone back to 2 as the best. There's good stuff in 5, but it has a lot more flaws. Especially that ridiculously long opening. There's very little I don't like about 2 though.

2 also has one of the best mini-games in a video game. I never get tired of that cooking mini-game.

If it comes out I'll finally be able to sell my PS1-copy of it. Great stuff.

I've been meaning to try this series for years, but haven't found a reasonable entry point, so this is good news.

Not on the European PSN which seems really idiotic from a business standpoint. I'm guessing Suikoden 2 wont be either.
