    The Sniper vs. Spy Update

    Included new weapons for both the Sniper and the Spy. Apart from this, the update introduced the Payload Race game mode, a new community map: Hoodoo, new arena maps: Nucleus and Sawmill. The update also saw a change to unlocking weapons as this could now be achieved through random drops.

    Manniversary Update

    This update introduced the Steam Workshop, an improved submission hub for player created hats and weapons. It also added over 30 new items, a High Five taunt, a second Misc. slot, the ability to add decals to some items, the ability to try items from the store for up to one week, and the ability to create and save four different loadouts for each character.     Added a new CP map called Foundry, which featured new hazards. Added new weapons packs for the Engineer (Brainiac Pack) and the Pyro (Moonman Pack), as well as new weapons for the Heavy (Holiday Punch), Spy (Spycicle), and Scout (Wrap Assassin Added 14 new community-created weapons and hats.
