Xbox Summer of Arcade 2012 Line-Up Revealed
I'm only really interested in Tony Hawk HD out of this list, which i'm guessing most people will be.
And they only mentioned / showed off the awful one of these games at their pres conference. Why???!!! An Elysian Tail is a much more compelling game then a clear copy cat of various phone / touch games. So is Hybred. Hell I've never head of any of the rest but even they look better then Wreckateer. Who the hell do they think watch these pres conferences, teenage girls that like kinect and Angry Birds? No, I'll tell you who watches these conferences, people who are interested in games and the creativity behind them. Oh yeah, and then there are the Halo and COD fanatics.
Tony Hawk and Dust for me. Depending on what/how Deadlight is, I could also see myself going for that.
Dust is probably the only one I'll end up getting. I really enjoyed those old Tony Hawk games, but I don't know if I want to play them again now. I know nothing about Deadlight, so I don't know if I care about it or not.
Not into Hybrid or Wreckateer, but the rest looks alright. Well see tho, previous Summer of Arcade have been pretty terrible.
Dust looks amazing, and fun as hell. Can't wait to play it.
Deadlight looks sort of like Shadow Complex set in a zombie apocalypse, which I can get behind. I'm sick of zombies like a lot of other people, but if it's done right, it's still a good setting.
Tony Hawk could be good, but I think I Tony Hawk'd myself out like 10 years ago. Not sure if I'd get back into it now.
Hybrid could be cool, but I'm not much into the cover/shooter mechanic, so I'll probably skip. And I don't have a Kinect, so even if Wreckateer looked worthwhile, it's a pass for me.

Dust and Deadlight seem to be amazing and Tony Hawk actually looks interesting, all in all a interesting showing for Summer of Arcade. Seriously Dust and Deadlight are the highlights. Anyone who got to play them at PAX East can attest to that.
Everyone who is complaining about this list, clearly didn't make it to PAX East or play the games if they where there, because if you did you would know how wrong you are.
Because as we know everyone has the same tastes.
I'm sorry your right, thank you for helping me with that.. I forgot some people have lousy taste. I guess it's the reason crap still gets made.
In all seriousness though, did you get to try the games at PAX East? If you did and didn't like it, why did you feel that way?
I'll probably buy Deadlight and Dust. I'm interested in Tony Hawk and Wreckateer, but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to play Wreckateer without Kinect, so I'll probably miss that one.
I don't think Hybrid will be a very good game.
Yikes... HORRIBLE line up. Deadlight looks interesting though maybe I'm just fond of black and white.
Anyone have an idea of what else is coming out on downloadable around that time? The only thing I read was that Bellator MMA game was coming out - some sort of Tekken meets MMA which sounds pretty awesome. It got some pretty good reviews from the people who played it at E3 so maybe I'll play that this summer.
