Super Amazing Wagon Adventure is a new take on the classic Oregon Trail adventure, instead putting players in control of the wagon in a side-scrolling (and dual-joystick) shooter.

Concepts

2D

Sure, these days have almost every game sporting the newfangled 3D, but way back when, everyone had to live with plain old 2D. 2D, or two dimensions, limit the game to scrolling backgrounds, but some games even now make use of this basic concept.
Bears

A large omnivorous mammal that can be white, brown, or black. Despite their ferociousness, they are also associated with being soft and cuddly, as in teddy bears. Bears are also known to eat stairs. Scientists say that because "bears eat stairs" rhymes the bears are naturally inclined to do so.
Bigfoot

A large ape-like creature that lives in the North-American Wilderness.
Bison

Bison, also called Buffalo in America are large bovids with shaggy manes and short horns.
Blood

Necessary to sustain life in organic creatures, the crimson fluid known as blood tends to make appearances when the body's structure is compromised in some way, a very, very common occurrence in videogames.
Blood Splatter

When blood will splash textures on walls or floors and even roofs.
Crab

Crabs in all forms and sizes, not just the giant enemy variety.
Credits Menu Option

Why wait until you've beaten the game to find out who made it? These games let you see the credits without ever having to play the game.
Crow

Crows are familiar over much of the world: large, intelligent, all-black birds with hoarse, cawing voices.
Deer

A ruminant mammal with antlers and hooves of the family Cervidae.
Digital Distribution

Digital Distribution is the concept of purchasing digital media via the internet and having it sent to the user directly via the internet. No physical representation of this content is given but the content resides on the users hard drive and is legally owned by them.
Disease

Diseases are medical conditions that have a negative effect on one's body. Some games revolves around a disease.
Explosion

A powerful release of energy. This energy is usually expelled in all directions very quickly, typically giving off orange or red flames.
Flower Picking

When a game has you picking flowers or plants as part of the game mechanic, such as for alchemy components or quest items.
Giant Enemy Crab

A historically accurate enemy native to the Japanese coast. Flip it and attack the weak spot to inflict MASSIVE DAMAGE.
Health

Health is a value that gauges how much damage players can take in a game before they die or pass out. Also known as life in some games. Health is usually represented by a bar or a percentage instead of an exact amount. Found in most non sport games
Horse

Equines that go 'neigh' and tend to eat hay. Some are the stars of motion pictures. The truest of companions to many adventurers.
Indie Royale

Indie Royale sells bundles of independent games for cheaper than they would cost purchased separately. Purchasers can choose to pay more than the current minimum to lower the minimum price for others.
Jellyfish

Jellyfish are ocean dwelling animals with a mushroom like top and tentacle like cilia on the bottom. They can be translucent or transparent.
Jump

It's arguably the one move that symbolizes the medium to those outside it. The ability to jump, be it onto building, onto platforms, or onto skulls, is one of the all time most important abilities ever put in a video game.
Llama

The llama is an animal found primarily in South America. Llamas are social creatures and are considered pack animals.
Merchants

Many games allow you to buy stuff, these are the dudes who help sell it to you. Typically they also engage in light conversation.
Options Menu

Options menus give you the option to change anything the game lets you change. Whether you want subtitles or not, sound effects or not, the game to be harder or not, anything you want that the game lets you change, you can change in the options menu.

Parody

A game or character that pokes gentle fun at an existing work of entertainment by being very similar to that work and exaggerating its features.
Pick Ups

Anything that can be picked up and used temporarly. Basically any item that is optional but can be used to an advantage.
Piranhas

Piranhas are omnivorous freshwater fish. They are labeled voracious human killers.
Skunks

Skunks are relatively small, omnivorous mammals that are most known for their ability to emit a terribly pungent odor as a defense mechanism.
Twin Stick Control

A method of controlling a vehicle or character via a pair of identical sticks. The control resembles that of a tank.
Unlockables

Extra objects, characters, or content in a game that can only be accessed after completing a certain task such as completing the game, or by using cheat codes.
