So this is finally out on Android

Just figured I'd give a heads up considering how rarely people, including myself, browse the Play store for new releases. The game's on sale for $0.99. Link here

It's practically digital crack for me , and I haven't even crossed 20 seconds on Hexagon! Surely I'll do better on the next try...right?

Thank you!

I bought this. And this is the worst thing ever. 8.59 seconds, 8.59!

Is this something I can play well on my phone? Or is it one of those mobile games that works better on a tablet?

I've been playing this non-stop since Friday night. Such a great game! My current times:

  • 50.1 seconds on hard (just can't seem to get those last 9 so far).
  • ~40 seconds on harder.
  • 6.5 seconds on hardest. I don't even... what the fuck? I'm guessing playing at this difficulty requires a deeper understanding of the mechanics that I don't have yet.

I'd think it wouldn't work super well on a phone. You know, there's a thing called a PC. Just sayin'

My 2 cents, I much prefer it on the iPhone to the iPad, easier to grip and maintain control.

This game is great and everyone should play it, regardless of platform.

This is my favorite iPhone game. It plays perfectly on the phone. 58.56 seconds on Hexagon! Only about 5 seconds on Hexagonest though.

I went into this weekend super determined to study for some midterms. Now, all I have to show for my time off is a measly 41 seconds on Hexagon

Edit: Also it plays fine on my Galaxy S2. If anything I prefer it to my PC and (non-existent) tablet because it's always within my reach.

@Malarkain: Hey, thanks for the heads up! Wasn't even aware he was making an Android version.

Finally. I had given up on this game coming to Android. I came across this when I got my notification from AppSales (side note: Install AppSales) and saw it was a buck. Really knew nothing about it other than hearing a bunch of people mentioning it being great so picked it up. This game is absurdly addictive. Since most runs last less than 10 seconds for me, it really has that "just one more try" factor going for it.

Awesome, I'll go pick it up now.

It was on iOS before it was on PC, so I think it would work well enough on mobile.

What's up with that input lag problem on Nexus 7 though? Is that just a weird Nexus 7 thing, or are other less popular devices also suffering from this problem? Does it come up in any other games or just this one?

@LordAndrew: According to Terry Cavanagh's blog, it's a specific issue with the Nexus 7. Nothing more specific than that.

Thankfully it works beautifully on my GS3.

People have been saying it is a software issue, and that Google should be able to fix it if they want.

But wasn't it more for the iPad than the iPhone? I just can't see it very fun to play on a small screen.
