Super Mario Bros 2, in the west, isn't really SMB2, it was a re-skin of Doki Doki Panic, a japanese game. Nintendo thought that the true SMB2, that after came to the west as Super Mario Bros Lost Levels, was too hard for the public outside of Japan, givinng us this different take on the series. Super Mario Bros. 2 is a sequal to the 1985 smash hit 0
This is the second game in the Mario series to be released in North America. Your main goal is to travel across 8 worlds with all new enemies different from the first game, as well as 4 playable characters. You can play as Mario who controls the same, and Luigi whos has a fluttering jump, then Toad who isn't very playable at all, and lastly, the Princess Peach who has a glide after she jumps. The basic gameplay looks similar to the first game, but has you jumping on enemies then picking them up...

Super Mario Bros. 2? This game was 100% different then any of the Mario Bros. Games that we have seen! Why? Well, after Super Mario Bros. 2 came out in Japan, Nintendo thought it was to hard for the US. To help everyone out side of Japan have a Part 2, Nintendo did some thing weird.
