    Does this game run ok on the wii u? And can i use the wii u controller or have i got to stick with the horrible wii remote?

    I think you play Wii games in Wii mode and have to use the Wiimote

    This. The Gamepad does not work with Wii Mode at all. You must use a Wii Remote and Nunchuck to play the game. Also the game runs fine. All Wii games run fine on it.

    @J12088: As others have said, it will be emulating a Wii so thoroughly that the game won't recognize the Wii U gamepad. No Wii games can be played with the Wii U gamepad.
